Job Description



-       Mechanical Engineer – Joplin, MO Salary range would be $72K-$90K with a 10% bonus potential


-      


-       Engineering degree (master preferred)


-       Strong understanding of quality systems PPAP, FAI, control plans, FMEA, APQP preferred.


-       Experience in a technical manufacturing environment


-      


-       Ideal candidate would have a strong background in quality, preferably in automotive, with a mechanical aptitude.  Must have experience with Optics products.


-      


-       This position is required to define and monitor processes in the manufacture of optics products that fulfill the requirements of customers and to increase the depth of technical knowledge in the manufacturing team


-      


-       Improve technical support for internal & external customers, take ownership of mechanical assembly process and its quality control, achieve cost reduction/improved efficiencies, and contribute to sound process/product design employing concepts such as design for manufacturing. 


-      


-       Carries the responsibility for disc preparation, disc molding, and mechanical assembly process, the end-of line qualification including a strong emphasis on Quality and the related engineering of products and systems in accordance with customer specifications.


Technical contact for the customer in production and works with the development teams in Europe
