Team Leader, Quality Assurance - Product Safety

 Description Immediate opening for a quality assurance team leader for product safety. This team leader will be responsible for development, management, compliance, on-going sustainability, and continuious improvement of the factory's product safety and food safety programs to assure all products are manufactured, packaged, stored, and shipped under safe and wholesome conditions. This team leader will manage the factory's product safety/food safety program to ensure compliance to Nestlé, Nestlé Purina, factory, and regulatory requirements. This position is also responsible for the direct management and supervision of the hourly sanitation team.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in food science or related discipline or 3-5 years equivalent work experience in quality assurance in a food manufacturing setting. Licensing and certification as certified pest management professional/applicator in the appropriate state's categories upon hire if not already certified. Successful certificate of completion of ISO22000/FSSC22000 internal auditor or lead assessor training course upon hire if not already obtained. Successful certificate of completion of Nestlé Quality Management System (NQMS) internal auditor training course upon hire if not already obtained. Strong interest in growing as a quality professional is desired. Must have a desire to work in a team environment and provide customer service to all levels of the factory team.
