Financial Analyst-Apparel Leader

This position reports to Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis. The primary object involves meeting stringent deadlines, creating presentations, generating reports, operational analysis and various special projects. Responsibilities include: - Calculate and analyze various financial and operational metrics on a monthly basis as compared to annual budget, forecast and historical trends. - Prepare financial results of three business units for presentation to senior management on a monthly basis as compared to annual budget, forecast and historical trends. - Prepare financial analysis related to acquisition and business development activities. - Provide financial support to sales and operations management. - Develop and maintain financial models for existing and new business initiatives. - Prepare Ad Hoc reporting for senior management. - Drive and implement new process changes to foster a continuously improving business environment. Qualifications: - BA/BS required - CPA or MBA a plus - 2+ years of finance or accounting experience in industry or investment banking - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint - Knowledge of Oracle and Access a plus - Strong analytical skills - Strong communication skills - Must be willing to work overtime to meet deadlines - Individual must be a team player with strong ethics - Excellent time management and job prioritization skills - Detail oriented and be able to multi-task - Ability to work individually or as part of a group on special projects - Able to work in a deadline oriented, fast paced environment.
