We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to be a part of our growing Washington DC office

The successful team member will be able to undertake mechanical system design and coordination with other disciplines on various building and transportation projects

 Your responsibilities will involve:

• • Design mechanical systems including: heating , cooling , heat rejection , air distribution , ventilation , air conditioning , building automation and controls

   

  • Manage development and work of other staff, responsible for one or more areas of technology, day to day financial management, and manage medium or large projects

   

  • Prepare drawings detailing the system designed

   

  Qualified professionals will have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural/Mechanical Engineering, 7-12 years of related experience

   

• Must be able to obtain a US security clearance

•  

• PE, LEED Certification, and Project Management experience is a plus

   

  Top applicants will have experience with a broad range of building types including airports, rail stations, museums, performance arts centers and commercial

•  

• Also required are superior written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with colleagues and clients of all levels
