Job Description:
A Consultant in the Cyber Security R&D group is responsible for developing the prototypes that bring company's Technology Vision to life. This includes working within the R&D teams creating the software and other materials needed to demonstrate the value of a new technology. Consultants lead small teams to quickly deliver results in an iterative and agile process. They must also be able to learn new technologies very quickly and be able to adapt to rapidly changing requirements. Our Consultants represent their work as subject matter experts to projects across company and to our clients. A passion for the hard problems of cyber security is a must.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years developing software using C, C++, Java, scripting languages (Perl/Python/Ruby) or similar. This can be in the context of work, course work, or personal projects.
Preferred Skills:
- A desire to create valuable applications out of new technologies
- Participation in organizations and teams
- 2+ years of experience in technical security, including system security, network security, threat and vulnerability management, security analysis and incident handling, application security, or data protection
- Demonstrated understanding of hacker techniques, security vulnerabilities, and how they apply to threat models
- Hands-on experience with data visualization, analytics tools/languages/libraries, or security analytics technologies
Professional Skill Requirements:
- Experience in managing own work effort including time management, issue identification & resolution, and status reporting

Prestigious Professional Services Firm is seeking a Cyber Security Senior Manager. This person came up through development, C, C++, Java and moved into cyber/web security. Will have strong background in network, threat and vulnerabilities, SIEM, IDS and application security. Will have strong hacking/security and have moved up through the ranks. Must have strong project management experience and direct management over security and development teams. Will lead, guide and mentor other cyber security developers and engineers. Excellent soft skills, stability needed, higher degrees preferred. This is a high-level role the requires leadership skills and this needs to be clearly spelled out in a candidates resume.

Job Description:
The Offering Engineering Lead reports to the Cyber Security Tech Labs Managing Director and is responsible for:
- Managing the solution development team in the planning, design and development of new concepts (software, frameworks, services) that will enable next generation of cyber security solutions
- Working closely as part of the leadership team to help drive offering strategy and define system architectures and technical innovations
- Provide technical direction and guidance, as well as hands-on project management, for product development
- Develop and monitor department budgets and forecasts
- Digging into business requirements and being well versed in architectural design
- Mentoring a team of software developers, technical architects and researchers
- Lead the engineering culture of the labs, providing advice to the product teams and lead engineers on process, style, and technique.
- Establish a solid project framework and agile development processes
- Be a champion of engineering and operational excellence
- Establish metrics for measurement and a process for regular assessment and improvement
