Overview
The Children’s Courtyard is committed to providing young children and their families with a high quality, early childhood education program in home-like settings. We understand that a child’s experiences in the beginning years have a lasting impact on their future development and academic success. Our purpose is to provide children with the tools they need to succeed during school and throughout life.

The Children’s Courtyard offers high-quality early childhood education and care in beautiful homelike settings, furnished with state-of-the-art, age-appropriate equipment. We understand that all children have different learning styles and cultures, so our teaching approach takes into account each child’s individuality.

Our classrooms are equipped with developmentally appropriate materials that we rotate frequently to maintain a child’s interest. We provide many different interest centers for active play and exploration, while still focusing on emergent math and literacy skills that children will need to be prepared for Kindergarten and beyond.

Our teachers also receive ongoing professional development at our lab schools. These unique training facilities provide academic enrichment with real-life experiences that allow teachers to expand their skills under the mentorship of education specialists and master teachers.
Our Company
The Children’s Courtyard was founded in Arlington, Texas, in 1986. The Children’s Courtyard operates more than 60 child-care schools in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin and Houston areas, serving children from six weeks to 13 years old.

In 2006, we became part of the Learning Care Group — one of the largest providers of early childhood care and educational services in the United States.

Everyone at The Children’s Courtyard is committed to helping each child reach their full potential and approach learning with enthusiasm, persistence and joy. We believe that if we can provide successful experiences, we can help children develop a positive self-concept and ensure a lifelong love of learning.
Our Employees
We know that a solid educational foundation begins with teachers. That’s why our teachers are highly trained, highly motivated and highly responsive professionals, dedicated to laying the groundwork for each child’s future academic and social success.

Our commitment to our staff begins with training. Staff members study at one of our unique Master Schools where they are mentored by Master Teachers and taught best practices that we know work. That support continues throughout their careers with ongoing assessments, continuing education and training opportunities.

Joining the Learning Care Group team entitles our employees to a list of benefit options to go along with our training and advancement opportunities!
