Overview

Founded in 1966 and based in Dallas, Texas, Tyler Technologies is the largest company in the United States exclusively focused on providing integrated software and technology services to the public sector. Simply put—Tyler empowers people who serve the public.

We devote all of our time, energy and resources to help local governments and school districts become more efficient, accessible and responsive to the needs of their constituents. At more than 9,000 local government offices and school districts throughout all 50 states, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom, our clients can attest to our ability to fulfill this promise.

While our focus may be narrow, our vision is not. Tyler delivers an expansive portfolio of software solutions that span the breadth and depth of mission-critical services that government organizations must address daily. Our product solutions include financial management, education, courts and justice, pension, public safety, appraisal and tax, citizen services, document management, and public records. No other company offers the same range of solutions for the public sector.

Tyler is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange (TYL), has annual revenues of over $290 million (2009) and employs more than 2,000 people.

People
The people make it work. We have the best people in the business. Our employees have a deep understanding of our customers' needs. In fact, many of our employees were once customers; they bring to Tyler invaluable insights from a customer perspective.

Tyler works well for a number of reasons. We have a focused, clear business model that scales well and has great opportunities for operational and financial leverage. We address the fragmented local government market, which has strong growth potential. Perhaps most importantly, we have an exceptional team of committed employees.
Tyler Customers
Tyler's customers -- our business partners -- are the reason for doing what we do -- enabling local governments to be more efficient, more accessible, and more responsive to the needs of citizens. That's what we do. And that's all we do -- in partnership with more than 6,000 customers nationwide.

It's a fact of business. Customers have a choice. They choose one product over another; one company over another, based on the value they receive for their investment. Tyler Technologies respects that choice and works hard to merit the confidence of its 6,000 customers by consistently delivering the highest quality products and services.

Tyler earns the trust of its customers by providing superior ongoing support and service, long after the installation is complete. As a result, close working relationships are established which keep Tyler in tune with the changing needs of its customers. There is no substitute for business relationships that are founded on proven trust and mutual benefit. When needs are met, promises are kept and exceptional value is realized, customers stay. For those reasons, they stay with Tyler Technologies.
