Overview
The Daily Times was founded in 1886 and
began publication as The Wicomico News, a weekly  publication. The
Wicomico News became a daily publication as The Salisbury Times on Dec.
3, 1923. The Sunday Times, now referred to as The Daily Times, began publication on Oct. 22, 1967. The  Daily Times became a morning publication on Oct. 2, 1989. In 2008, the Daily Times moved from Carroll Street to its current location in the Northwood Industrial Park.


The Daily Times and its affiliated weekly newspapers comprise
the Delmarva Media Group with  offices in Salisbury, Md.; Bethany Beach, Del.; Ocean City, Md.; and Tasley, Va., all on the
Delmarva Peninsula.
