Services offered at Silver Springs are directed by a dedicated team of health care professionals, offering medical, rehabilitation, and mental health services. Therapy services include in house physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, along with (24) hour skilled nursing services.
Mental health services are designed to meet the needs of adult individuals whose physical, mental, and psychosocial deficits required skilled nursing care in a supportive and structured milieu. The team is comprised of primary care physicians, psychiatrists, psychologist, social workers, nurses, therapeutic recreation therapists, dieticians, and an onsite APRN. Silver offers individual and group therapies, as well as medication monitoring.
The psychology department utilities a clinical classification system based on communication and cognitive levels to determine the type and intensity of therapeutic programming. Our facility works closely with local community mental health agencies to provide adjunct services, such as case management, socialization/recreational opportunities, skill and support groups, AA meetings, and vocational training.
