A History of KeyTech - A Technology Staffing Company
What began as RJS Temps, founded in 1987 to satisfy the many temporary staffing needs of clients in the Greater Hartford area has now become one of the premier, end-to-end staffing providers in Connecticut. Under the direction and ownership of John Frank and Sandy Hathaway, RJS Contract Staffing specialized in contract and direct hire placement of personnel in the fields of Engineering, Healthcare and Information Technology. As the demands for these services grew, changed, and evolved, so did the vision.
In February of 2001, RJS Contract Staffing underwent an exciting transformation. The name was changed to KeyTech, LLC, to reflect its unique and growing commitment to providing industry-focused, client-specific contract, contract-to-hire and direct placement solutions for its business partners. With over two decades of staffing experience in several targeted industries, and representing only key talent, the firm expanded. KeyTech enhanced its capabilities by joining forces with the expertise of InfoTec and IT Partners. InfoTec, a direct placement IS/IT firm was founded in 1999 by Ron Divinere, responded to the permanent staffing needs of the insurance, financial services and healthcare marketplaces, while IT Partners, a consulting IS/IT firm, also founded in 1999 by Steve Massucci and Dan Massucci, responded to the contract staffing needs of all of those industries. Not only did these two companies allow for expanded service, but with the additional expertise of Steve (CTO) and Dan (CFO) came the benefits of an in-house technical manager and an in-house CPA.
With this merger and strategic alliance partnerships, KeyTech significantly increased its value to clients. By procuring and placing professionals in several fields, including Accounting/Finance, Engineering/Manufacturing, Information Systems/Information Technology, Software Development/Engineering and Human Resources, KeyTech greatly expanded its resources and client base.

Contract Staffing

(Hartford, Conn. - April 30, 2001) InfoTec, LLC, of Farmington, and IT Partners, LLC, of Suffield, have merged with KeyTech, LLC, of Hartford, Conn., John Frank, CPC, KeyTech’s principal and CEO, announced today. Under the merger agreements, Ron Divinere, formerly of InfoTec, has become KeyTech’s new president and chief operating Officer, Sandra Hathaway Frank, CTS, is KeyTech’s new vice president, while Dan Massucci and Steve Massucci, formerly of IT Partners, will serve as KeyTech’s new chief financial officer and chief technology officer, respectively.
Why merge? The added-value benefits, they say, are three-fold: a larger consulting force, expanded on-demand service and a greater overall resource base, all with little to no overlap in services or client markets.

“Our new high-end IT consulting services, plus our new direct-hires and placements of IT professionals for the financial industry, fully complement our proven staffing and contract consulting services in other arenas, which include traditional manufacturing firms, Internet-based service companies, ‘click and mortar’ hybrids and emerging dot-coms,” said Frank.
