JOHN SHELL ASSOCIATES, INC.

A native of South Carolina, John Shell has served as an Accountant with the Columbia office of Price Waterhouse and as Director of Internal Audit with The Seibels Bruce Group, Inc. He founded John Shell Associates, Inc. in 1982. John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Senior Advisory Board of the College of Business and Behavioral Science at Clemson University, and the Board of Directors of the American Association of Finance & Accounting. He also serves his community in various civic and church organizations.

Also a South Carolina native, Lisa Cooke has served as a Tax Accountant with Arthur Andersen in Columbia and as Director of Accounting at Air South Airlines, Inc. in Columbia. Lisa is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, where she serves on the "CPA Report" editorial board and the Accounting Careers/Academic Relations Task Force. She has been employed as a recruiter with John Shell Associates, Inc. for 14 years.

As the only South Carolina firm selected for membership in AAFA, John Shell Associates has access to job opportunities and qualified candidates throughout the United States. The 40+ affiliate offices of AAFA are especially helpful in identifying those "hard to find" candidates and in assisting candidates with relocation outside of the area.
