Most people don’t even read the “About Us” sections of websites. Mostly because they are full of self-serving baloney. Especially when it comes to “employment agencies”. BIG national services have some expensive PR sleeze-ball write their stuff so they look and feel like a Magical Service that can do no wrong. New employment agencies try to look old. We have our CEO/Owner-guy do it so it is real.
So, here are the facts about Champion: We’ve been around a LONG time (1964), and most people think we know what we are doing. We have filled over 60,000 direct hire openings, over 2 million “temp to hire” openings, and have placed the great-grand children of people for whom we found jobs 1964. We fill jobs/ place good people in Industrial, Technical, Office, and Management areas. White Collar, Blue Collar and No Collar. We fill Low level jobs in industry up to executive level. I can’t think of any other way to describe the variety. Call us, and we’ll be honest with you…about you. But one thing is for certain: we fill a lot of jobs. We aren’t “Rosie’s Employment Agency and Tailoring Service”, and we are also not the “We’re so big and powerful” employment service with a billion offices and no expertise.
We operate offices in Garfield Heights (also corporate offices), Twinsburg, North Olmsted and Middlefield (yes really, right in Middlefield Ohio). We are hoping to open more offices in 2011, but (honestly) we’ll have to see how the economy goes).
Champion finds great people for great jobs (we have to have the jobs first). But we also talk to great companies about great people (we can call organizations on your behalf, when we know hiring authorities who could employ someone with your experience). We typically work with companies who require drug tests and background checks. If your references stink, we probably won’t be able to help you either.
We have a system of filling jobs: “Hiring With Purpose™ “. It is as close to retained search practices as one will find in “employment agencies”. What it means is that we don’t guess. We actually work hard at what we do, and accurately.
We give free advice that is good enough to pay for. After all, we are in fact experts.
