In March 2009, Air Serv joined forces with the aviation-related security and services division of International RAM Associates (IRAM) of Austin, Texas. Our combined network serves over 50 airports, including 27 of the nation’s top 40 markets in the United States and 12 of the top 30 airports worldwide. Our combined force is the global leader in wheelchair, baggage handling and skycap services.

The combined operations have also expanded their presence in security services, becoming a global presence. Security services include access control and loss prevention, perimeter and aircraft guarding, cargo screening, and in conjunction with TSA, pre-departure screening, ticket verification and passenger profiling.

People

We are a “people company,” and as such, believe that to have satisfied customers, you must first have employees who feel valued and are recognized for exceptional job performance. All of our employees are chosen for their competence and commitment to service, and we also recognize that employee recognition and reward is also a key ingredient in our success.

Reward systems are customized to motivate individual performance, and employees are awarded pins that they wear with pride on their uniforms every day. Once a year, 110% Club galas are held across the country to recognize those employees who play a huge role in our success.

At Air Serv, we have implemented tracking of initial and recurrent employee training. Periodically, our employees are tested to measure the retention of their training. In order to assure retention of employees, we realize that the employees must be satisfied with their relationship with us. To that end, we establish a career path for every employee and give them the opportunity to grow professionally. As much as possible, we follow a policy of promotion from within as well as the opportunity for transfers.

Awards

For the special employees who go above and beyond the call of duty, Air Serv offers a rewards program called the 110% Club. We recognize those employees who do more than what their job duties require of them. Throughout the year, employees earn points for exceptional performance in the areas of attendance and punctuality, appearance and demeanor, overall per- formance and customer recommendation/ recog- nition. The 110% Club recognizes all employees who earn 110 points over a 12-month period. Those employees earning the most points at each location are recognized at the end of the year at a gala luncheon or dinner.

Once an employee “makes the grade” they are given a certificate and a uniform lapel pin recognizing their achievement.
