Job Description

Accessible Space, Inc. a national non-profit provider of housing and personal care services to individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), Mobility Impairments and Seniors is currently seeking a Full-Time Housing Certification Specialist for our Administrative Office in Saint Paul, MN.
(I-94 & 280)

The Housing Certification Specialist will assist Property Managers in effectively managing Accessible Space, Inc.’s (ASI) properties by ensuring that all processes and documentation related to move-in and certifications are in compliance with rules and regulations set forth by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Job Requirements

Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) certification or a combination of related experience and education. 

 

High volume Property Management experience.

 

Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally, effectively, and positively.

 

Must possess excellent organizational skills, demonstrate attention to detail, and be successful in monitoring the flow of large amounts of paperwork with varied deadlines.

 

Strong computer skills.

Supporting Qualifications:

 

Experience working with individuals with disabilities.

 

Knowledge of Minnesota’s Personal Care Attendant Program, Medical Assistance Program, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Section 811 Program, and state/federal entitlement programs and benefits.

 

Familiarity with general accounting procedures.

 

Familiarity with One Site Suite.

 

Dependability and initiative.

 

Ability to work independent of constant supervision.
