Clinical Informatics Expert!

Our extraordinary commitment and unique insight into clients’ information technology (IT), program management, security, healthcare / medical management, education and training management consistently produce extraordinary results.  We are currently seeking a Clinical Informatics Subject Matter Expert in support of an Air Force Medical program.  This is a permanent, full-time position working in Falls Church.

• Provide consulting to DoD agency heads, directors, and senior managers with multi-faceted expertise in military healthcare clinical practices, IM/IT, DoD acquisitions and engineering.

• Facilitate major DoD acquisition testing efforts.

• Manage a team of consultants, analysts and technical editors. 

• Give briefings and/or write articles.

• This position requires familiarity with a variety of fields, concepts, practices, and procedures.

 

Minimum Experience/Education:

• Master’s degree in business, management, engineering, technical or operational area and fifteen (15) years of IMIT Test & Evaluation experience required.  

• Of the 15 years stated above, ten (10) years of DoD IMIT Test & Evaluation experience required.

• Possess a degree in medicine with ten (10) years clinical experience.

• Current Licensure in any state and professional certifications as a Doctor, Physician Assistant, or Nurse/Nurse practitioner.

• Shall possess the following certification or able to obtain within 6 months:  Level 2 Acquisition Professional Development Program in Test and Evaluation. Proof of completion of required courses, i.e., DAU training certificates, may be substituted for the APDP Level 2 Certification.

Candidates must be US citizens and will be required to undergo a background investigation in order to be granted access to classified information.  Current secret security clearance is a plus.
