Job Description

  • Develop and implement production / processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most cost efficient manner
  • Investigate and resolve work-in process problems
  • Recommend and implement improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters
  • Monitor assigned operations to assure compliance with approved methods and quality standards
  • Review proposals of outside vendors regarding the purchase of new or modernization of existing production / processing equipment
  • Work cross functionally to ensure alignment, integration, and successful execution of all initiatives
  • Cost-reduction and quality improvement projects using project management concepts
  • Primary processes involve fabrication, welding, assembly, and paint
  • Hands on floor orientation 
  • Lean implementation

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree - BSIE, BSME, BS Mfg Engineering
  • 3-20 years experience in manufacturing and engineering
  • Fab, Weld, Assembly, or Wood products experience

  • Position is located in Southeast IA near the Mississippi River
