Eagle Express Lines is in need of a CDL Truck Driver in Columbus, OH.  Eagle Express Lines is a premier carrier in the transportation industry, working hard to meet the ever-changing needs of the United States Postal Service. We provide dedicated round-trip mail runs and one-way mail runs that are combined with return freight. We currently have need of full-time CDL Truck Drivers to run a variety of regional OTR postal routes out of our Columbus, OH terminal. (Please do NOT apply if you do not currently live within an affordable commute of the Columbus, OH area.)

 

We pay a straight time rate ranging from $20.04. In addition, you will receive approximately $4.61/hour USPS Health & Welfare pay toward your health insurance premium (paid up to 40 hours per week). You will average 45 to 50 hours or more per week, with hours and scheduled work days to be determined.

As a CDL Truck Driver, you must be dependable, responsible, and committed to the safe operation of your vehicle and the safe and timely pickup and delivery of customer freight.

 

Specific qualifications for the position include: 

• Valid CDL-A license
• Minimum 18 months verifiable prior tractor trailer driving experience
• Minimum 23 years of age
• Clean MVR with NO DUI or drug convictions or positive drug screens ever
• Must be registered with the Selective Service (USPS requirement); see the Selective Service website for details (http://www.sss.gov/default.htm)
