Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Develop, arrange, manage and administer all quality procedures and standards.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage, prepare and/or assist in preparation of all PPAP submissions for customers, including follow up approvals.
Lead Check fixture design reviews and support equipment and tooling design reviews.
Coordinate Statistical Process Controls
Interface with all functions of the organization to communicate, problem solve and correct nonconformities.
Maintain documentation, files, records, and reports as required.
Monitor processes for performance capabilities.
Monitor, implement and maintain TS16949 and ISO14001 procedures and instructions as required for compliance.
On-Site Customer Support for new project launch/problem solving.
Provide Corrective Action feedback to Customers
Containment, short-term, long-term and verification.
Resolve supplier quality issues.
Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, responsiveness, etc.)
Create production control documents (QCS) and gage work instruction

Required Experience

Communicate effectively and professionally with all functions of the organization and with suppliers about industry standards, customer requirements, service and satisfaction.
Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 4 years experience in quality assurance.
ASQ Certification preferred.
Minimum of 1 – 2 years in the Automotive Industry.
Statistical Process Control (SPC) experience.
Problem Solving abilities.
