CNA HHA Companions Caregivers - Hourly & Live-In

Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA /  Home Health Aide / HHA / Companion

We are currently hiring both female and male CNAs, HHAs, and Companions as well as live-in caregivers.

CNA / HHA / Companion Responsibilities include:

• Assist clients with personal care needs

• Provide patients with social and emotional support

• Assist patients with Range of Motion exercises, transferring and positioning

• Follow a nursing plan of care

• Report important information to our RN

• Escort clients to doctor's appointments, shopping and other outside activities

• Care for laundry and linen, light housekeeping and cleaning

• Provide medication reminders

• Meal preparation and clean up

• Some live-in opportunities are available 

 

 CNA / HHA / Companion Requirements include:

• Current  Indiana CNA license or HHA registration or equivalent experience.     
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical and/or home health experience
• Valid drivers license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Physical within 180 days of employment
• Willingness to drive to client locations throughout Lake County, Indiana
• Commitment to promptness
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Commitment to presenting a professional image and treating others with respect
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding client information
