Shipping & Receiving Clerk

NovaMed-USA is a leading medical instrumentation manufacturer with headquarters in Elmsford, New York.  Our products are distributed worldwide.

We are currently seeking candidates for shipping and receiving positions. Both full-time and part-time positions are currently avilable.


Job Description

The successful candidates will coordinate and expedite the flow of incoming vendor materials,  maintain inventory requirements both components and finished goods, and coordinate the picking and packing of domestic and international shipments. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Receive, Log-in & coordinate the Inspection of  all incoming component material;

Maintain weekly inventory reports for weekly production staff meeting; 

Fill all customer order picking lists;

Coordinate, schedule shipping and track trade show material;

Assist with special projects as assigned;

Conduct monthly inventory;

Monitor inventory of shipping materials as well as submit requisitions for these materials on a monthly basis.

Implement all tasks according to the Company's Standard Operating Procedures, FDA GMP, ISO Quality Standards and DOT Hazmat Requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High School Degree minimum requirement, College Associates Degree or 4 Yr Degree a plus;

3+ years of current Shipping & Receiving experience;

Minimum Basic level PC skills for Word, Excel, and Internet; (Candidate will be tested)

Must have experience utilizing UPS Worldship, FEDEX, LTL Freight software as well as other methods of shipping; DOT Hazamat certified, a plus.

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

Must demonstrate a history of excellent time management  skills;

Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines;

Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills; 

Must have can-do attitude along with an excellent attendance and punctuality record.

Prefer candidate's residence to be within Westchester County;

Must pass backgound check and drug test;
