Dietary Aide
The Dietary Aide is responsible to provide assistance in dietary functions as directed in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations and Five Star policies and procedures to ensure quality food service is provided at all times. 
Part time positions available

Waitstaff
Serves residents seated in the dining room in a professional manner
following established procedures.  Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age.  Must possess, at a minimum, a 10th grade education.  On the job training is provided.
Part Time positions available

Dishwasher
The Dishwasher is responsible for proper cleaning and handling of all utensils, pots, pans, china, glassware and silverware in dishwasher area.  Part time positions available
  

  

 

                         

 

 

 

Qualifications:

• Persons who have been found guilty in a court of law of abusing, neglecting or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting are ineligible for employment in this position.
• Freedom from illegal use of drugs
• Freedom from use of and effect of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
• Demonstrates effective time management skills 

Education and/or Experience

• Ability to speak English to fulfill position responsibilities.  Able to read English to read schedules, menus and position related instructions.
• Ability to work in a team environment, work flexible shifts and communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Must enjoy working with the elderly and able to accept constructive criticism.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: none required

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  Ability to solve problems related to the operation of the equipment and assigned procedures.  Ability to move mentally between tasks with interruptions and maintain effectiveness
