Job Description

Ensure the Company is fully compliant with tax laws and regulation and to strategically manage the overall taxation matters. Coordinate the treasuries function in the Finance department effectively. Leverage local finance resources as necessary to advise and support the business in all treasury and tax matters, including optimization of working capital. Assist in short term/long-term tax & treasury strategy and establish policies and procedures in both disciplines.

Tax Management
Provide input relating to tax matters in all domestic and international structural set up and funding decisions.
Liaison with finance staff and operating staff on tax issues and tax accounting/reporting issues.
Ensure that appropriate controls are in place over tax issues and tax accounting issues across the Company.
Prepare or review periodic tax entries for financial reporting as well as tax footnotes for financial statements.
Responsible for all Federal, State and local jurisdiction tax filings, as well as oversight of tax returns for foreign entities as applicable, including gathering and providing all related analyses and supporting schedules.
Responsible for monitor preparation and compliance for sales/use and property taxes
Responsible for managing and coordinating response to tax audits, Federal, state or international, as required
Assist in the preparation and submittal of GST, VAT and other/similar tax compliance reports associated with the importation of the Company’s products into the foreign regions
Assist the planning function in developing and monitoring annual budget estimates and cash flow forecasts for taxes
Develop calendar and track all tax compliance reports, Federal, State, local jurisdiction and foreign entity, as required
Treasury Management
Oversee all aspects of the Company’s banking relationships, including optimization of account structures.
Manage all aspects of the company’s debt management, including principal and interest payments, debt rate elections, covenant compliance etc.
Manage gurantees and letters of credit as issued by or to the Company
Identify the company’s ongoing exposures to movements in foreign exchange rates, define and implement approaches to minimize it where possible.
Liason with finance staff and operating staff on treasury issues and treasury accounting/reporting issues.

Job Requirements

Required &*Preferred Education: 

    BS Accounting, MS Tax preferred. CPA preferred.
    
Required Experience:
8 years Big Four and/or Corporate Tax experience
Required Skills:
Able to manage activities across multi-finance disciplines. Demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a team-based finance organization. Strong computer aptitude and proficiency, including advanced Excel skills and enterprise reporting systems (Hyperion). Proficiency in other Microsoft office applications is a must – Word, PowerPoint. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with superior attention to detail Exceptional communication skills with ability to present analyses and findings in both verbal and written formats to all levels of management. Proven leadership and management experience.
