Manager, Business Operations & Strategy (TAMPA, FL)

Job Description



Lead/Manage, Evaluate and Support day to day operations of PennyMac CLG Fulfillment. Manage and coach associates responsible for reviewing and purchasing loan assets through PennyMac CLG Fulfillment. Evaluate operational process, flow and systems efficiency to create a more streamlined, cost effective and customer focused loan purchase process. Construct metrics and design reporting to measure the performance of operational processes, fulfillment associates, and clients.  Based on aforementioned responsibilities and tasks, work with Senior Leadership to set strategic goals of CLG Fulfillment.



Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identifies “root causes” for process misalignment and client friction.
  • May manage specific functions within CLG.
  • Interacts with Sales Management to ensure all client issues are resolved timely and accurately.
  • Along with other senior leaders within CLG, sets and/or influences direction of Correspondent Operations, Credit and Sales as well as Secondary Marketing, IT, Treasury and Loan Servicing.
  • Interacts with PennyMac’s Secondary Marketing department to keep abreast with PennyMac’s and secondary marketing investors’ (FNMA, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA and private label) credit policies.
  • Ensures that all loans are purchased in accordance with PennyMac’s and secondary marketing investors’ credit policies.
  • Partners with key clients to improve synergy between PennyMac CLG and their operations.
  • Provides Executive Leaders at PennyMac key data required to drive strategic plan.

Other

  • Complete special assignments necessary to support business strategy.
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values.


Job Requirements



Technical

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance or related field preferred

Minimum of 5 years of mortgage experience

Thorough understanding of all aspects of Correspondent Lending process.

Contemporary knowledge of mortgage industry and operational practices

Functional understanding of applicable Federal, state and local lending regulations.

Direct industry experience may be substituted for minimum education requirements.

Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices & procedures.

Relies on experience & judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Knowledge of basic computer software programs, including Internet, Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
