Job Description

The Psychiatrist manages the operations and provides overall direction and leadership for the provision of the mental health services in the facility. This position has the primary responsibility of providing administrative and clinical coordination for the comprehensive mental health care program for the inmates/residents. This is a part-time or contracted position that regularly works 8 hours per week; therefore, there are no benefits offered.

Job Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of medicine with a M.D. or D.O. Must possess or be eligible for Board Certification in Psychiatry. Must possess current medical license as required by contract. A valid driver's license is required.
