APPLICATIONS SOFTWARE ENGINEER - EMBEDDED LINUX

You will be working closely with a team of highly skilled embedded linux software engineers and product managers in building cutting edge software applications with a focus for the audio video industry. You will be participating in both early technology research and product development. You will be actively contributing your knowledge of modern software development techniques and technology on diverse platforms and architectures.

/> * BSCS or MSCS (Or similar degree - transcripts required)
* 2-5 years' application development experience with embedded Linux
* Strong experience in QT development (Creator, Designer, Webkit, OpenGL) with deployment on embedded Linux required, other platforms are a plus
* Strong software development experience in C++, C
* Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming principles
* Experience of Embedded Linux concepts (booting, kernel, filesystem, MTD, kernel modules, etc)
* Experience with multi- threaded software development
* Experience with LINUX kernel and modules in audio /video applications is a plus to have but not required
* Experience of scripting languages
* Familiarity of Linux driver architecture a plus, especially related to USB, Framebuffer, SPI, I2C, ALSA, Video4Linux
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, (written, and verbal)
* Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
