This position is responsible for assisting the Director, IT Internal Audit (Global) in executing and the quality and timeliness of IT internal audit assignments:


  • Assisting the Director, IT Internal Audit (Global) in the development and execution of the IT Audit Plan and taking an active role in the risk assessment process.
  • Addressing significant business and IT risks through value-added audits and fostering a control-oriented environment.
  • Assuring an effective and efficient cooperation with the external auditors and Audit Service Providers.
  • Maintaining effective audit customer relations at various levels of the organization.
  • Assist in recommending and executing Internal Audit strategic initiatives while supporting management strategies.
  • Supervising, Leading and/ or assisting the Team Leader as required during the engagement.
  • Providing support to local management, internal and external auditors including technical expertise as needed.
  • Clearly identifying, communicating and escalating high risk observations to the appropriate levels of management.
  • Adhere to budget goals, meet deadlines and communicate difficulties in a timely manner
  • Liaising with financial, operational and compliance audit personnel to ensure key financial, operational and compliance risks are adequately addressed during audits


POSITION PURPOSE:

  • Assist in performing the planning activities to ensure appropriate scope and audit work plans are developed for engagements.
  • Assuring that the audit programs are tailored to the potential risk areas for the business process(es) under review.
  • Identifying “leading practices” both inside and outside the organization and provide sound business advice for process and control improvements.
  • Timely follow-up on the adequacy and effectiveness of previously agreed audit recommendations.
  • Highly involved in the audit planning and closing meeting including the preparation and delivery of issues identified during the engagement.
  • Work with process owners to develop actionable remediation plans that address the fundamental root cause
  • Generating accurate audit reports that are objective, clear, concise and constructive and are issued timely after the end of the fieldwork.



 RequirementsRequired Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum four years of IT auditing experience, preferably in the Manufacturing field
  • Big 4 Accounting Firm working experience required
  • Strong knowledge of IT General Controls and systems audit (SOX and non-SOX)
  • Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology
  • 5% Domestic and International travel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Multiple spoken languages is preferred – English, German, French, Spanish
  • Attention to detail with focus on quality and accuracy


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant certifications (i.e. CISSP, CISA) or advanced degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials is essential (minimum 11.5.10)
  • Strong knowledge of IT security controls related to PCI-DSS, Privacy and Business Continuity/Disaster
  • Recovery is preferred
  • Familiar with data analysis/data analytics
  • Familiar with GRC tools, such as Paisley GRC
