Sr. Front-End Developer Job Description:

The Developer will be working directly with the Architect to develop a UI framework for a flagship application. Responsible for:

Creating software specifications with the team using the IEEE SRS recommended practice.
Work closely with designers, software engineers, and other developers.
Build features from the design stage through to production, logic testing, client compatibility testing, documenting and building a UI framework that will be leveraged by multi-platform client applications.
Selecting libraries and developing proof of concepts for proposed UI and UX solutions.
Architect and maintain a robust Javascript MVC Architecture.
Designing, documenting and building standalone javascript client applications.

Requirements
SR. FRONT-END DEVELOPER – COTRACT TO HIRE – ORLANDI, FL

Sr. Front-End Developer Skill Requirements:

4+ years of experience developing web applications using JavaScript, CSS and HTML.

Familiar with the fundamentals of Object Oriented Programming within a JavaScript context.

Familiar with UX best practices.

Passionate about user interfaces and clean design.

Understanding of current trends and advancements on the web.

Excellent web visual design, layout and typography skills

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite

Experience in mobile interface design, preferably responsive site design

Well-versed in modern web standards and best practices

Great eye for performance and code quality.

Strong design background in addition to strong analysis, design, development and testing skills.

High Priority Technical Skills:

HTML5

CSS3

Javascript

AJAX

Nice to Have:

LESS or SASS
