Security Officer – Unarmed
Summary / Responsibilities - Security Officer – Unarmed :
Guardsmark, LLC hires only those individuals who are committed to operating within professional standards and, who are physically and mentally capable of performing and providing quality security services to its clients, which include but are not limited to the following:
- Extensive security patrols that require walking, driving, climbing and standing for long periods of time, indoors and/or outdoors.
- Controlling access to and from a client’s premises.
- Directing and controlling pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
- Monitoring a client’s property through the use of closed circuit television equipment.
- Secure, protect and deliver cash, checks, proprietary and classified information, documents and related business and government data.
- Conduct safety and fire watch inspections.
- Correctly interpret and follow written technical instructions and generate clear and concise written reports.
- Immediately respond to potentially dangerous and/or emergency situations where life, property and public order may be in jeopardy.
Security Officer – Unarmed
Requirements - Security Officer – Unarmed:
- Possess a valid Driver’s License and Social Security Card.
- Possess proper Alien Resident documents when appropriate.
- Possess a solid work ethic and a willingness to work where assigned.
- At a minimum, possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- At a minimum, be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess an Honorable (or other acceptable) Discharge and DD214 when there is previous military experience.
- Possess a record free of criminal convictions and arrests.
- Possess a drug free lifestyle.
Note: All applicants meeting Guardsmark, LLC qualifications, as a condition of employment, will:
- Be fingerprinted and photographed.
- Submit to and pass a drug test before hiring and be subject to random drug testing once employed.
- Be subject to an extensive and thorough background investigation, including a criminal history check, previous employment verification and character references.
- Be required to make application for the State of Tennessee security/guard license, through the sponsorship of Guardsmark, LLC, in accordance with State Statute.
