 Description Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Communications Systems RF Test Engtineer  to join its client, who is the nation’s leading satellite TV provider with more than 18 million customers. Customers enjoy hundreds of channels of digitally delivered entertainment, sports, news, family and informational programming.

  • Experience spectrum and network analyzers, power meters, arbitrary waveform generators, bit error rate testers, SFUs, vector signal analyzers, oscilloscopes
  • Experience programming with Labview or other equipment control software is ideal
  • Matlab or C-code programming experience desirable for creating data files and post processing programs is ideal
  • Responsible for running tests on RF hardware prototypes including demodulators, modulators, frequency stackers, and switches.

 

 Requirements
  • Experience testing with RF Test Equipment -oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers etc..
  • 5-10 years hands on experience testing RF systems and modules from 250 MHz up to 20GHz
  • Can build test setups using discrete RF components
  • US citizen or permanent resident due to work in ITAR restricted laboratory due to work in an ITAR restricted laboratory
  • Test plan, procedure and data documentation
  • Ideally -BS degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Excellent organizational skills
