Design, layout and project management of electrical control systems for industrial automation incorporating various types of Programmable Logic Controllers, variable frequency drives, AC/DC drives, field sensors, and operator interface devices. Specific functions include:
Research and engineering of system requirements
Development of electrical schematics
Specification and ordering of components
PLC programming
Operator interface programming
Systems shop testing
Field start-up and debug
Operator training
Troubleshooting existing control systems
PLC programming: Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, Texas Instruments, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Square D.
Operator interface programming: PanelView, Total Control Products, Horner, Maple Systems, Red Lion Controls.
Communications / Networking: Data Highway, Device Net, Ethernet, Remote I/O, Modem Access, Alarm Paging.
Control Software: RSView, Wonderware, Intellusion, Taylor, Cimplicity.
