Technical Business Systems Analyst

Job Description:

• Working heavily with business partners to gather and analyze business, systems and technical requirements
• Make recommendations and propose system solutions to meet business requirements
• Design and Develop Business Rules using a High Level Business Rules Engine Application.
• Oversee technical changes  made by team members
• Quickly isolating and troubleshooting Production Issues using SQL AS400 Data Lookups
• Validate and Implement the data and technical changes to responsible systems
• Create requirements, business flow diagrams (MS VISIO), system flow (MS VISIO) diagrams  and other documentation to support project deliverables
• Facilitate business requirements gathering sessions with the business owners and key technical resources
• Liaison with the Vendors, up and down stream technical development teams and business users to create and finalize test plan/scenarios
• Facilitate meetings to ensure scenarios are complete
• Execute and or review testing strategy, testing cycles, document results, and create testing sign-off documentation
• Work with the technical team and business to schedule deployment of fixes/enhancements
• Create operation support and helpdesk documentation for production systems
• Update system documentation as changes/enhancements are deployed to ensure its accuracy
• Proactively develops a course of action without being prompted to do so.
• Recognized as the system expert for supported systems.  A “go-to" person for both the technical team and business customers.

must have:

• 4-6 Years of auto finance or financial service work experience (preferably in the Collections or Charge Off arena)
• 4-6 Years of work experience in Technical or Solutions Lead capacity
• Strong understanding of the SDLC.
• Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology systems and software development. 
• Working knowledge of Fair Isaac Recovery Management System (RMS) recommended but not required.

• Strong SQL Skills for data troubleshooting and Business Rule Development.
• Basic understanding and high level working knowledge of AS400, MS Office products (VISIO, Excel, Word, Power Point), Oracle, Informatica and Autosys.
• Experience working with vendors (on-shore, off-shore, service and data providers).
• Strong Production Support skills to quickly isolate and troubleshoot Production Issues
• Ability to understand data architecture design of applications
• Ability to understand technical architecture design of applications
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office products (VISIO, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong business analysis, definition, design, testing and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Ability to respond to frequent pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision 
• Ability to multitask on competing work with different priorities
• Education: Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science with equivalent work experience
