 SENIOR CHIEF ENGINEER


Responsibilities of  Senior Chief Engineer

 

Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Responsible for the day-to-day operations, i.e., trouble calls, preventative maintenance and major repair projects in the areas of electrician, carpentry, mechanical, refrigeration / hvac .

 

Handles guest complaints, concerns and needs. Maintains supplies inventory and costs. Supervises the assistant maintenance manager, maintenance administrative assistant, maintenance i, maintenance ii and maintenance iii personnel.

Requirements for jSenior Chief Engineer

 

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in supervising or managing maintenance and/or engineering departments of a medium to large hotel, condominium or timeshare project is required.
  • Candidate must also possess experience in working with contractors, building codes, licensing, permitting processes, energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.
  • HVAC Certification Required
  • Trade school or specialty training with diploma/certificate, or equivalency preferred.
