BENEFITS include 2 weeks paid vacation(after 6 months),10 paid sick days(after 6 months),8 paid holidays,3 personal days (after 1 year)and 1 floating holiday (after 6 months). For FULL TIME employees (37.5 hours or more), health care -LVCC pays 75% of the employee's premium, but zero towards additional family members. We also offer voluntary benefits such as dental, short term disability, long term care and life insurance as well as a retirement plan where after 2 years of employment we match up to 3%. Also half price child care. PART TIME employees (20-37.5 hours per week), health care is at 50% of premium for employee.

MUST obtain a FBI Criminal Check, PA State Criminal Check and Child Abuse Clearance.  Previous clearances obtained within ONE YEAR of hiring are acceptable with ORGINAL DOCUMENT ONLY.

MUST have current PHYSICAL (within 1 year), TB Test (within 1 year) and proof of RUBELLA vaccination. Other vaccinations, documents many also be required.

CENTER DIRECTOR/HEAD TEACHER

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field plus 1250 hours experience working with children.  Willingness to obtain Center Director credential within first two (2) years of employment.


HEAD TEACHER

Infant/Todders: Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field plus 2500 hours experience working with children.

Pre-School: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field plus 2500 hours experience working with children.

School Age: Associates Degrees in Early Childhood Education or a related field plus 2500 hours experience working with children.


ASSISTANT TEACHER

9 credit hours in Early Childhood Education or a related field

OR

CDA Credential

OR

Specialized Age Group Certificate

AND

Two years (2500 hours) documented work experience

                                                                                SERVER

·         HS Diploma or equivalent

·         Previous food handling experience helpful, but not required

·         Able to complete PA Criminal, FBI and Child Abuse Clearances
