Athletic Trainer

Job Description

Coordinates Athletic Training Program including marketing, business planning, and patient relations (coaches, supervisor, family and physicians).  Responsible for prevention and care of athletic injuries.  Serves as a resource for community sports medicine education and coverage of athletic events. May be requested to provider technical coverage of therapy patients as needed.

Job Requirements

Full-Time and PRN positions available! 

Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree preferred. NATA BOC certification Current Tennessee Athletic Trainer licensure required or must be licensure eligible and must obtain licensure within 90 days of employment. Requires 2-4 years experience in a high school or college setting.  Experience working for a hospital-based sports medicine program, a plus!  BLS certification from approved American Heart Association training center is required upon hire. Current TN or state of residence Driver’s license required, along with clean MVR and proof of automobile insurance
