The Statistical Manager will create measurable marketing campaign test designs, build statistical models (Regression, tree-based, time series and more) and communicate the results to internal partners, to expand the group's current capabilities.
Reports to the Sr. Manager of Statistical Modeling
Requirements and General Skills:
- Hands-on knowledge of data analysis techniques, targeting, segmentation, predictive modeling, business and marketing metrics and score carding, campaign analysis, modeling and forecasting as well as customer profiling and other customer classification analyses
- Experience using techniques such as cross-sectional and time series analysis, analysis of variance, multivariate regression, factor analysis, predictive response modeling, sales response modeling, discrete choice modeling, data mining and visual analytics to analyze complex data sets
- Experience analyzing multi-channel marketing campaigns involving A/B testing, multivariate testing, and segmentation
- Experience developing and implementing statistical solutions for use in the automation of marketing decisions preferred. Develop analytic plans (including sampling plans and programming specs)
- Evaluate the productivity and profitability of marketing campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement. Identify statistically significant changes in audience behavior
