Uline seeks an Operations Engineer at its Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (north of Chicago, Illinois).
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist on design and implementation of racking, equipment and distribution layouts.
- Develop RFP's for equipment and racking.
- Project manage equipment and rack installations for order placement to turnover.
- Ensure projects are within acceptable schedules and budgets.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting as required.
- Conduct time studies and establish engineered standards as assigned.
- Create and deliver effective reports and presentations on equipment and process performing along with alternatives for improvement.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree. Engineering major or degree a plus.
- 3 to 5 years experience in a distribution or warehouse setting.
- Prior experience with Modeling Software a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Access.
- Capable of leading projects from start to finish with limited guidance and support.
- Experience specifying, purchasing, operating or maintaining warehouse equipment.
- Available for travel to Uline’s domestic and international branches.
