Position: Mid or Sr. Microsoft Platform Software Developer (C# .Net and SQL Server)
Status: Full-time, permanent salaried.

We produce an award winning SaaS product in use with organizations across the country.  By leveraging cloud technologies and service oriented architecture, our product is among the most scalable and dependable products of its kind.  We want to make it even better, and that is where you come in.


What we need: 

Our team is strong and diverse.  We are hoping to hire 2 additional developers for permanent roles to keep up our momentum.  Ideally, we will be adding 1 Mid-level C# .Net developer that have been programming in the MS stack for at least 4 years, and 1 Sr. level resource with at least 7 years of experience.  
 

Responsibilities:

 

-       Develop enhancements, extensions, and integrations to our existing product offering.

-       Work to define, document, and implement technical architecture requirements for our current systems and next generation systems.

-       Collaborate towards the development of reusable application components, services, and processes. 

 

-       Most important: between 3 and 7 years of software development experience within the current Microsoft stack of technologies (WPF, WCF, SQL Server 2008 R2, LINQ, etc.)

-       Exhibited experience using modern web technologies and migrating legacy technologies to current platforms.

-       Proven experience as a true Object-Oriented Programmer (OOP)

-       Dynamic understanding of and experience with the Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative SDLC methodologies. 

-       Leadership experience

 

-       C#
-       .Net (3.5-4.0), JavaScript, jQuery, CSS with inheritance

-       WCF - Service Oriented Architecture – SOA (or WS*)

-       WPF, XAML is a huge +

-       XML, XSLT

-       Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (also SQL Server 2005)

-       Must be a self-starter and a problem solver.
