YADP Behavioral Health Technician
Assist with the day to day operations of the Young Adult Day Program, including facilitating life skills groups and assuring client safety and participation during programming. Ability to collaborate with GED instructor to assure seamless program facilitation. Assist in providing clients with group and individual counseling services as needed and as appropriate for their diagnosis. Complete program documentation; to include progress notes, incident reports, quarterlies, and weekly updates. Communicate as directed with referring case managers, client families and other agencies involved in client care. Ensure that supervisor is apprised of client progress, issues, and needs. Discuss any high-profile cases on a regular basis. Transport clients to and from the young adult program, program outings, volunteer service, and other appointments as directed by supervisor that aid in the achievement of client treatment plan goals.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree and at least one year behavioral health experience. Minimum requirement: over 4 years of behavioral health experience.
