Classification: Accounts Receivable Clerk
Compensation: $27,000.99 to $33,000.99 per year
Robert Half Finance & Accounting is assisting a well known organization with an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This opportunity offers stability, flexibility, and possible career advancement opportunities in the future. The ideal Accounts Receivable Specialist must have a positive 'customer-service' attitude, ability to appropriately and effectively prioritize and multitask, ability to problem solve, and have a minimum of 3 years of recent accounting experience within a construction or manufacturing company environment.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will oversee and take full ownership of all AR and collection responsibilities for the firm. Typical duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
Processing an posting payments, handle and escalate all collections, reconciliations of statements, preparing monthly billing statements, reconciliations, and run a variety of reports and analysis to the management team. As the AR specialist, you will report directly to an Accounting Manager and be required to interface various banking institutions, handle all calls involving payments, notices, etc and assist with other duties as given by the management team.
Job Requirements
Strong customer service and communications skills, both oral and written - MUST HAVE
2+ years of Accounts Receivable Experience - MUST HAVE
Timberline software experience - Preferred
Prior Construction or Manufacturing experience - Preferred
