Job Description:
My client in the greater Houston region is seeking a SharePoint Administrator for a permanent role, and is hiring immediately. This company is seeking a candidate to start as a SharePoint Administrator and hopes to eventually develop this role into a SharePoint Lead for their organization. This is a great opportunity for career advancement and to gain vital experience in a growing, stable company.
Required Skills:
•5 years of SharePoint experience
•Ideally 2+ years of SharePoint 2010
•Working knowledge or experience with SharePoint 2013 highly preferred
•5+ years of experience with SQL Server
•Experience with SharePoint Templates
•Knowledge and experience administering a medium-large scaled SharePoint Farm
•Great understanding of Windows Server 2003/2008, SQL Database, and Web Front Ends
•Knowledge of web parts development and trouble shooting
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Strong work ethic
Responsibilities:
•Install and configuration of SharePoint Infrastructure
•Plan and perform improvements to the system as directed
•Participate in systems deployment, implementations, and migration projects
•Perform user end support and training
•Perform disaster recovery operations
•Report to C-Level executives and Upper Level Managers
•Planning, design, configuration, testing and implementing SharePoint 2010 solutions
