Materials Management Technician needed for busy ambulatory surgery center.  Directly responsible for all clinical inventory management – ordering, receiving and stocking.  Reports directly to the Administrator.  Accountable for utilizing contracts or cost effective supplies.

 

Must have 1-2 years of materials management training in a healthcare environment preferably an ambulatory surgery center.

Must demonstrate computer competence utilizing materials management software preferably Advantx.

Must have excellent communication skills and work closely with OR Manager, staff, physicians and vendors.

Must be an independent worker with great organizational skills for the management of inventory with appropriate documentation according to Policies and Procedures.

Must be a high school graduate with BLS certification.
