Compensation: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
Growing and stable organization located in Anne Arundel County is in search of a Payroll Tax Analyst. The Payroll Tax Analyst manages the overall payroll tax compliance in a multi-state environment. The Payroll Tax Analyst is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of filings as regulated by the federal, state and local tax authorities.
The Payroll Tax Analyst will be responsible for:
1)Ensuring payroll processes are consistent and in compliance with legal requirement and company policies
2)Update the Accounting department on any changes affecting the accrual of payroll taxes and resolve related issues.
3) Assist Payroll Manager with tasks associated with Quarter End and Year End reporting processes including W2s tax filings, reporting and reconciliations of payroll taxes with various government agencies
4)Prepare, submit and Maintain all phases of payroll tax filings and related reports.
Qualified applicants should have a degree, have their CPP certification and have 3 years experience with the payroll tax function and experience filing governmental payroll tax filings.
