Senior Accountant

Classification:  Account Executive/Staffing Manager

Compensation:  $30.00 to $40.00 per hour

The Senior Accountant is responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements. Responsible for quarterly and annual reports. Ensure financial reporting is in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Works with reporting in preparation of budget and forecasting.The Senior Accountant analyzes monthly financial performance against forecast and prepares variance explanations. Works directly with operations managers in preparing business plans and capital budgets. Prepares various reports for management, external and internal auditors. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Bachelors degree (B.A.) in accounting or finance, from a four-year college or university. Minimum of two years experience as a financial accountant preferred. CPA preferred. Previous business planning and forecasting experience preferred.
