Job Description: Responsibilities:
• Executing Test cases manually and via automation
• Work in a QE team to accomplish end-to-end install/upgrade test execution of an entire product suite & solutions
• Execution of Scalability, Stress and Interoperability tests
• Reporting metrics and status
• Track and measure results
• Manage activities to meet their delivery dates and report accurate, complete status
• Write Test plans and Test design specifications
• Work with cross-functional team to fully test a given product
Requirements:
• BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in installation, packaging, OS upgrade technology
• 5+ years in quality assurance writing test plans, automating test cases, execution & defect reporting/validation
• Must be able to setup test beds involving Windows, Linux OS setup, DB setup ( MSQL, Oracle. Postgres ) and be able to troubleshoot and debug issues • System administration, management, testing or development
• Working experience in Java for test case automation / execution
• 3+ years of Java coding required
• Familiarity with STAF/STAX, Selenium required
• Familiarity with Python, Power shell would be a plus
• VMware ESX experience a must have
