Description

Progressive Life of Bexar County, Ltd., is seeking a professional Human Resources Recruiter to recruit quality Direct Support Professionals for our Community-based programs. PBC is an HCS-provider of Residential Services for individuals with Mental Retardation and other Developmental Disabilities.  We are looking for candidate with significant experience working in the MR/DD field in a Human Resources capacity who will add value to our team.  This is a newly created position with opportunity for development across the state of Texas.

Essential Duties:

 

  • Recruit Direct Support Professionals

  • Monitor Turnover

  • Develop Retention Programs and Activities

  • Attend State and Local Job Fairs

  • Develop Job Postings

  • Interview Candidates

  • Check References

  • Administer Criminal and Motor Vehilce Background Checks

  • Staff Training and Development

  • Manage Vacant Position List

  • Manage Group Home Schedules

Requirements
  • Must have at least 3 years experience working as a Corporate Recruiter
  • Experience working in the field of Developmental Disabilities
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
  • Proficient with MS Office products and Internet usage
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented
