Job Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate has worked in a manufacturing environment, has experience with repair processing and production control, and has excellent follow through skills. Duties include:
- Coordinating activities associated with the returned products in need of repair or upgrade.
- Management of returned assemblies and modular components from the field; repair scheduling; depot material management; repair data development; and interaction with both internal and external customers.
- Handle material issues, including ordering parts and maintaining data using Oracle.
- Work directly with manufacturing, production control, shipping and receiving, test technicians, assemblers, and customer service reps.
Experience/Skills Required
- AA or AS degree in Electronics or related field is preferred with a minimum of 3 years experience.
- Experience with continuous process improvement methodologies including 5S, lean, or six sigma is preferred.
- CPIM certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience improving processes or procedures is required.
- Experience working with customer service or suppliers is preferred.
- Technical experience in a military manufacturing environment is strongly desired.
- Ability to read and interpret data sheets and users manuals for electronic test equipment.
- Must be familiar with ERP systems (Oracle preferred), CM processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Applicant must be familiar with PC’s and DOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with basic RF components and communications theory is a plus.
- Must be able to lift and move product and subcomponents which vary in weight from light to moderate.
- Must be able to travel up to 10%.
