Premier HealthCare is an expanding network of primary and specialty care outpatient facilities within the YAI Network of not-for-profit health and human service agencies dedicated to building brighter futures for people with disabilities and their families. We operate clinics on 34th Street in Manhattan, East Tremont Avenue in the Bronx, Remsen Street in Brooklyn and Northern Boulevard in Bayside, Queens.




We are currently seeking a Billing and Receivable Manager. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to lead, provide support and be familiar with all aspects of the revenue cycle in a health care setting. The ability to foster a positive working environment will be essential to success.

As the Billing & Receivable Manager you will manage clinic billing and collections functions which includes but are not limited to the following areas:
* Conduct data analysis and present findings to management to include Aged Trial Balances, billing, cash collections by carrier and ancillary services
* Assist with the annual audit
* Participate in corrective actions in response to variances and trends
* Assist with establishing objectives for performance measures of subordinate staff members
* Interact with staff on a regular basis to ensure timely and accurate billing information
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize and delegate appropriately to achieve performance targets
* Ensure department goals are being met
* Maintains polices and procedures

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of billing and accounts receivable in a health care environment
* Supervisory experience
* Experience with billing systems- GE, IDX, preferred
* Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Third Party billing and follow up
* Extensive knowledge of healthcare billing policies and regulatory requirements
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
* Strong attention to detail
* Proven oral and written communication skills
