Intelligence Image Analyst 3 

Imagery Analyst will provide target intelligence analysis services with target development and certification requirements. The Imagery Analyst will provide technical expertise on mensuration methods and services, and facilitate reachback with appropriate NGA analytic resources as a liaison between USCENTCOM and NGA. Provide oversight for skills and processes required for target analysis, precise point mensuration, quality assurance, and data management. Imagery Analyst position includes geopositioning and geospatial analysis to support targeting efforts for USCENTCOM and Federated Partners. Produce softcopy imagery and target materials for dissemination. The Imagery Analyst will be required to perform research, acquisition and comparison of target coordinates and derivative sources using Digital Point Positioning Databases (DPPDB) and imagery in support of USCENTCOM plans and require targeting of entities. The Imagery Analyst will use applications based on USCENTCOM architecture for gathering geospatial information and imagery as they relate to targeting. There will be regular collaboration with NGA imagery and geospatial analysts and other intelligence officers and engineers in the Intelligence Community (IC) in order to successfully satisfy requirements. The Imagery Analyst will develop a certification program at USCENTCOM using CJCSI 3505.01. For this reason, the Imagery Analyst will maintain regular communications with other intelligence personnel in St. Louis. The Imagery Analyst will use a variety of imagery analysis formats and databases in order to accomplish the mission. NES and Intelink databases will be key components for this service. The Imagery Analyst will work with NTM, air breather, and civil/commercial sensors providing hardcopy and softcopy imagery. Manual light tables and electronic light tables will be regularly used. Standard NGA reports include NES remarks, NIIBs, and IRs in formats provided by NGA. Data management will be performed on systems such as Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB), Target Management System (TMS), Joint Targeting Toolbox (JTT), Integrated Geospatial Information Services (IGIS), Image Product Library (IPL), and Integrated Exploitation Support System (IESS).

Typical Education/Experience

 
Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
