Internet Management Services, INC. is a financial services company that has been in business for over 10 years in the state of Alabama. We have steadily expanded our office of operations as well as the services that we offer. A solid management team supporting a staff of driven professionals with a strong business plan has ensured our company’s success and growth, even in an uncertain economy. Our corporate office is located in the financial heart of Shelby County in Birmingham, with thirteen branch offices in the Greater Birmingham Area, in both Shelby and Jefferson Counties. We also have 6 locations in Mobile and Baldwin County.
Product Information:
Internet Management Services, INC. specializes in offering financial services that include short term personal loans, title loans, and check cashing. Financial products such as money orders are also available at a limited number of branches. Various underwriting criteria must be met by applicants before they can qualify for a loan. This criterion is evaluated by the Customer Service Representative and/or Store Manager.
Employment Opportunities:
A new team of cross-functional customer service professionals is being assembled. As this team grows, different departments may be established for each of the following focus areas:
- Customer Service – handle incoming calls from customers requesting information about the loans we offer, checking on the status of their application, or obtaining information about an outstanding loan.
- Collections – contact customers with past due accounts to make arrangements for full payment on their account or negotiate the surrender of the collateral
- Branch Managers – Oversee the day to day operations of the branch ensuring all transactions are accurate and all policies are followed. Other duties will include all the previously mentioned aspects above as well as many other management functions including but not limited to: marketing, organizing the branch for maximum sales growth, and developing or training customer service associates
- District Managers – Oversee the day to day operations of multiple branches. Store audits, and the Training and Developing of Store Managers are ongoing tasks to be completed on a regular, recurring schedule. Travel will also be required, as well as B2B marketing.

Requirements
Skill Requirements:
- Must be a team player with a positive and outgoing personality
- Must be able to confidently speak with many different types of people, and convey the company’s policies in a well informed, yet friendly manner
- Must be able to maintain good customer relations while using various techniques to collect on overdue accounts
- Must be able to handle cash and provide change without error
- Must be able work in a busy atmosphere and still maintain the same level of customer service while completing all required aspects of company policies in a timely manner
- Must have a basic knowledge of computers
- Must have a working knowledge of several business applications which include but are not limited to: MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Quick Books.
- Must be proficient in keyboarding at 40 WPM.
- Must have a general knowledge of basic accounting principles and be able to perform basic budgeting functions.
- Must be focused on customer service and building lasting business relationships
Some positions will require B2B Marketing and Light Travel.
