Job Description:

Management Information Systems Applications Specialist is responsible for implementation, maintenance and support of all consumer database software applications and systems. Job responsibilities include:

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assists with implementation, training, technical and operational support for electronic practice management and electronic health record applications.       55%

  • Assists with implementing, maintaining, testing, upgrading, and troubleshooting of all systems and network, hardware and software.     25%

  • Assists CIO in projects.    10%

  • Identify system hardware and software requirements, then oversee purchasing, installation, and training related to servers, workstations and other hardware and software     5%

  • Attend meetings, workshops, and various programs, as needed. 3%

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.   2%

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5 years experience with various computer software programs and hardware systems

  • Previous experience with NextGen, PsychConsult or other EHR’s preferred.

  • Previous experience with Windows domains, Windows OS’s, and Office Suite required.

 

Compensation:

Base Pay: $41,000 commensurate with experience.

Other Compensation:  Travel, Incentive Pay, Generous 401(k) and Benefits Package
